Two years ago, Sarah approached me and gave us the idea of the “Transformer Award.” I am excited to announce that the award has found its way back to its original creator. Thank you, Sarah, for your ideas (as crazy as they may be at times) and for being such a positive influence to your students and contributing to building a positive staff culture. As I read through all the different messages that students left for her, two things stood out: Mrs. Thompkins makes learning history fun, and students feel safe in her room. With such a boring topic like history, it takes a lot of skills to make it fun! Thank you, Sarah!
